Accessibility Statement

At ALBA we want everyone to be able to use our website easily, including people with disabilities. We work to make our website and our service accessible, and we keep improving them.

1. Accessibility level

The website albaled.co.il is operated by Lian & Imri Technologies Ltd. (ALBA is the trade name), Company No. 517405015. The website’s accessibility adjustments were made in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, following Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at level AA.

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Hebrew version prevails.

2. Accessibility features on the website

  • Language and direction: the page language (English on these pages; Hebrew or French on the other versions) and text direction are set in the code, so screen readers read the content correctly. A language switcher links each page to its counterparts in the other languages.
  • “Skip to main content” link: appears on the first press of Tab and lets you skip past the menu.
  • Keyboard navigation: all links, buttons and form fields can be reached with the keyboard. The element in focus is marked with a prominent outline.
  • Mobile menu: the menu button tells screen readers whether the menu is open or closed, and the menu can be closed with the Esc key.
  • Clear structure: pages are built from defined regions (header, navigation, main content, footer), with an orderly heading hierarchy and a single main heading on each page.
  • Images: informative images have alternative text. Purely decorative images and elements are hidden from screen readers.
  • Contact form: every field has a label, and the choices are grouped under a heading. Required fields are marked, and each error has a text message linked to its field. Error and confirmation messages are announced to screen readers, and focus moves to the first field with an error or to the confirmation message.
  • Reduced motion: if you have enabled “Reduce motion” in your operating system, the website turns off animations and image transitions.
  • Responsive layout and zoom: the website adapts to the screen size, from phone to desktop, and you can enlarge the view with your browser’s zoom.

The website does not use an external accessibility plugin (“widget”). The adjustments are built into the website’s own code and work together with the accessibility tools of your browser and operating system.

3. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. These are the limitations we are aware of:

  • The mockups of the management system (at the top of the home page and in the “ALBA Platform” section) are illustrations and are hidden from screen readers. What they illustrate is explained in the text next to them.
  • The images in the “How it looks in real life” section are illustrations. The content shown on the screens in those images (sample menus, prices and promotions) is not read out in full; a general description is provided in the alternative text instead.
  • External services the website links to, such as WhatsApp, are not under our control, and their accessibility is the responsibility of their operators.

4. Service accessibility

ALBA’s service, including consultation, installation and support, is provided throughout Israel, usually at the customer’s site. You can contact us on WhatsApp (written messages) or by email, and we will gladly adapt the way we communicate to your needs.

ALBA’s offices are at Rothschild 4, Rishon LeZion, and do not offer walk-in reception. Consultation, installation and support are provided at the customer’s site, anywhere in Israel.
